The City Over Clouds is a law firm office placed on the twenty-third floor of a tower in Guangzhou, China. The interior covers 1800 square meters and looks over the Pearl River. Materials include natural blue stone, white ceramic paint, corrugated and smooth stainless steel plates, blue mirror, wood and a slim lighting system. An arched form marks the entrance to the working area and brings a sense of solemnity. White surfaces and wave shapes recall clouds. The layout expresses the idea of a global vision joined with local wisdom.
